First Degree Reiki provides you with a solid foundation for your future practice, and provides you with important tools that you can use to help balance your energy system, to promote self-healing and assist your spiritual development. But there is far more to Reiki than can be learnt in one course.

The Reiki Second Degree course gives you the opportunity to deepen your experience of the energy, furthering your self-healing and spiritual development and providing you with additional approaches that will enhance your treatment of others, whether in person or at a distance. Reiki Second Degree enables you to use the ancient Reiki symbols for mental, physical and spiritual healing of yourself and others-including advanced techniques for distant healing.

The Second Degree is taken by those who want to become Reiki practitioners, and those who simply wish to further their knowledge about Reiki healing techniques. At Second Degree you learn further tools that you can use to move your experience of Reiki on to the next level.

 

 

 

 

This takes place over the course of a day.

·        Reviewing what has happened since First Degree

·        An introduction to the symbols. Students are shown symbols which they can use to empower their Reiki practice. Most Reiki systems introduce their students to three Reiki symbols, but in Tera-Mai Reiki you are introduced to a number of other symbols which have specific uses, including symbols for peace, courage and for attracting abundance into your life

·        During the morning you will participate in a meditation and an attunement process which will further open up the channels through which Reiki flows and strengthen your connection to Reiki

·        During the afternoon you will be given opportunities to practise drawing and using the symbols for self-treatment

·        You will learn how to use the symbols and their mantras to help make your treatments stronger and more effective

·        You will practise sending and receiving distant Reiki with a fellow student

·        You will be shown a further position which can be used with symbols to promote mental/emotional healing

·        Second Degree Training is also about moving beyond the basic guidelines of First Degree towards working more intuitively, allowing the energy to guide your hands to the right places to treat, in the same way that Dr Usui worked, rather than dutifully following a prescribed set of hand positions

·        You will also begin to look at the importance of intention in our Reiki practice

 

 

The course manual is comprehensive and covers everything you are taught on the day so there is no need to feel the need to take notes. There is extensive background information on Reiki, a complete list of symbols, an up to date booklist and list of contacts.

 

Every student receives a professionally designed and produced certificate at the end of the training day, displaying the unique seal of my Reiki school. Your certificate confirms that you have received training and attunement in Tera-Mai Reiki and have satisfied the requirements of the Second Degree of Reiki. 

 

I feel that is important that as many people as possible have access to Reiki training and so I provide concessionary rates for those on benefits and pensions.

£30 deposit paid in advance and the balance paid on the day of the course.

All Reiki students are welcome to join a Reiki share group. Students exchange and receive treatments, refine and add to their knowledge of Reiki, take part in group meditations and in sending distant Reiki to friends, families and personal concerns.

If you took your First Degree elsewhere, you are not expected to pay to redo your First Degree again, before you can take your Second Degree in Tera-Mai Reiki. However, at the time of your attunement you will be aligned to the energies of Tera-Mai which may be subtly different to those you experienced before. You will also be given a First Degree Manual.
